All column head filters act as display filters and will restrict the display to the chosen property only. They can all be combined at will.
Material
Depending on what section is marked in the left pane you will have a different choice of filters for this first column.
For Smith Color LBods and SBods you can have all the metals (Iron to Valorite), for Tailor Leather LBods and SBods all the leather types (Plain to Barbed). As for „Smith Weapon" and „Tailor Cloth" the material is unchangeable there is no such filter for those two.
Also, if you have chosen a material-specific subsection from the left pane, this filter will be deactivated.
Set
A "Set" is a combination of items required to fill an LBod. For Smith Color, Set can be Ringmail, Chainmail or Platemail. For Tailor Leather it is either Footware Set, Leather, Studded, Female or Bone. In the section Smith Weapon there are the sets Axes, Sword, Piercing, Bashing and Polearms, for Tailor Cloth the
sets available are Gypsy, Pirate, Farmer, Wizard, Fishergirl, Town Crier, Lady, Jester und Hat Set.
For those single Smith Bods that have no corresponding LBod (i.e. Shields, Female Plate, Helmets) there is a "Set" called "other" that will exclusively show these. A Set Filter must be applied first in order to use the Item filter.
Quality
Can be either „Normal" or „Exceptional"; and of course also like everywhere else „Any", which means that the filter is disabled.
Amount
Filters the Bods according to the requested amount of items. Can be 10, 15 or 20.
Item
Item is also a Filter, though you may not notice it at first glance. Setting an Item Filter requires that the Set filter of this same window is already active. When you have selected a Set (Like Ringmail) you can then further filter your Bods by choosing one particular item from the list. (Like Ringmail leggins)
(1) Currently there is no item filter for the set "other".
Match
The column only exist for SBods and tells you whether this SBod fits into some LBod that you own. The Match column has no filter but displays either nothing (SBod is not combinable currently) or
Note that the background color in this field will show you the color of the LBod this SBod may go into.
For LBods you have a similar display in the corresponding Part1 to Part6 slots, but matching criteria are color coded to enable the identification of the SBod by the 3 character abbreviation:
cyan again stands for a "fit", orange for an "exc",
red for "col" and finally magenta for an "ecol" match.
In the LBod Part1 -Part6 fields the background color represents the material of the SBod in question.
SReward/LReward
SReward is short for Small Bod Reward, LReward for Large Bod Reward. The abbreviation listed here stands for a reward or a group of rewards from which the reward for this Bod will be picked. (Open the Edit window (F2) for a less cryptic listing of the rewards) or see the list of
abbreviations .
But SReward /LReward are also filters (right click). All possible rewards are listed in the context menu. Choosing one of them limits the display of Bods to such Bods only that will give you a chance of receiving that particular reward.
Book
If you have the Book column displayed (Columns in the Filter Setting Window) the Book Column filter allows you to limit the display to only such Bods that are assigned to a specific Bod Book. Doing a right click on Book will let you select the Bod Book from a list of your defined books or containers.
Please note that while you set a Book Filter, the section selection you have made in the right pane of the database window is still maintained. So, naturally, while you are in Lbods Smith Color, filtering the display to the Bod Book where you keep your spined leather only, wont show you anything
at all - so use some commonsense.
Price
Price is simply a column that shows you to which Bods you have assigned a price (making it for sale) and what that price is. There is no filter functionality there, because it would not be helpful. It is much better to use the sorting feature on this column.
Sorting by Columnes
In addition to the filtering, the column heads can also be used to sort by the particular column, You can use either one (filtering or sorting) on each column, but not both methods on the same one. Sorting is initiated by doing a simple Click in the column head, similar to the Windows Explorer. It is a three state button -
sort up, sort down, sorting off. When sorting is active you will see an arrowhead indicating the sorting direction. Sorting can be particulary useful when you need to check bods for mass-actions.
Here are the details:
| Material |
Sorts on material in a logical order: Iron --> Valorite; Plain Leather --> Barbed Leather. Since the default sorting (low->high) is always active, this sorting has only two states. |
| Set |
Sorts on the different sets. Ringmail --> Platemail (Single Bods are an extra group) Footware --> Bone Armor |
| Quality |
Sorts on quality. Puts all normal Bods in front, then exceptionals or vice versa |
| Amount |
Numeric sort on the amount required to fill the Bod 10 -> 15 -> 20 |
| Part (LBod Sections) |
Part in the Lbod Section sorts on the number of empty slots in an LBod. All totally empty LBods come first, then all the ones with 5 empty slot, then 4, 3, 2, 1 - finally the totally filled ones. No matter what Part you click on, the arrowhead is always displayed at the Part 1
position, and the action is the same in all cases. |
| Item (Sbod Section) |
Sorts on the different items. PLease note that UOBod distinguishes between Studded Set/Gorget and Leather Set/Gorget. Although only "Gorget" appears for both in the Item column. |
| LReward |
Sorts on the Rewards you will get for the completed LBod, or the LBod the Sbod belongs to. The sorting order is based on an UO internal order. |
| SReward (Sbod Section) |
Sorts on the reward you get for the filled Sbod. The order is base on an UO internal order. |
| Book |
Sorts on your Bod Books, placing Bods from the same book next to each other. The order will reflect the one you see in your Bod book setup. |
| Price |
Numeric sort order on the price you have entered for a bod. |
1. Filtering your Bods to just one item is particularly useful, when you are filling Sbods. Lets say you need to fill a normal 15 Shadow Platemail Tunic Sbod. Your Blacksmith skill is high enough to create some exceptional tunics while you make the 15 normal ones. So where do you put them?
Setting the item filter like explained above gives you a list of all your Shadow Platemail Tunics Sbods. You can further restrict it to only exceptional ones if you like. Since you can see to what extent they are already filled, you should have no problem to find one to accommodate the exceptional tunics you have just made.
